Carl and I had great fun on our date night this week dreaming up and planning out our teaching schedule through January 2014.
There’s SO much that wants to come through the two of us, and we both feel we’re just barely opening the flood gates to allow it to emerge. I hope you’ll take a moment to peruse our “mark your calendar” section at the bottom of this email to see what we’re cooking up for our teaching schedule for 2013. We’re excited to share it with you!
Being in the very first days of Spring, as the earth is bursting with new life, (even under the snow I woke up to this morning) I’m feeling that new growth sprouting in my own inner world as well, and I’m reminded of this wonderful line from David Whyte:
Though many spiritual traditions have been teaching about these “knowing” centers in the body for ages, it’s interesting that now there is research showing there are enough neurons in and around the heart and the gut that they can each be called “a brain” of sorts.
may my heart always be open to little birds who are the secrets of living whatever they sing is better than to know and if men should not hear them men are oldmay my mind stroll about hungry and fearless and thirsty and supple and even if it’s sunday may i be wrong for whenever men are right they are not youngand may myself do nothing usefully and love yourself so more than truly there’s never been quite such a fool who could fail pulling all the sky over him with one smile~ e.e. cummings ~
i thank You God for most this amazing day: for the leaping greenly spirits of trees and a blue true dream of sky; and for everything which is natural which is infinite which is yes(i who have died am alive again today, and this is the sun’s birthday; this is the birth day of life and love and wings:and of the gay great happening illimitably earth)
how should tasting touching hearing seeing breathing any-lifted from the no of all nothing-human merely being doubt unimaginable You?(now the ears of my ears awake and now the eyes of my eyes are opened)~ e.e. cummings ~
