It’s summer, yay!!!
Are you feelin’ it? Lemonade, leisurely afternoons, hammock time, camping trips, long warm evenings, outdoor grillin’, going swimming and all the rest? What are your favorite summer activities?
Today I’m enjoying one of my summertime pleasures – a juice fast. Feels so good to press the refresh button in that way. I’ve also been enjoying getting up reeeeeally early when it’s still dark and cool and it feels like it’s just me and the birds awake in the world. Sigh. I love this season.
I learned a short and sweet practice from my friend Jovanna Soligo several years ago and it’s woven its way into the fabric of our family life so beautifully over the years. I’d love to share it with you. It’s a simple way to mindfully savor summer. I’m all for mindful savoring!

I’ve got a lovely short poem for you today and a schedule update which I’m super excited about.
It might just be the best season of our lives. May our minds be unclouded by unnecessary things, and may we enjoy it deeply, in spite of all that might make us do otherwise.
